Our Founder & CEO

oGoing CEO & founder Sanjay B Dalal started designing oGoing out of his home in June 2009, at the height of the great recession. Dalal is on a mission to connect over ten million small business professionals, service providers, business owners and startup entrepreneurs, and provide them the best social and business networking experience on oGoing. Dalal has launched innovative SAAS collaboration products at WebEx that are used by more than 50 million professionals worldwide. Dalal is a serial entrepreneur and innovator, experienced product manager, mentor and community volunteer. oGoing is Dalal’s 7th Startup since he moved to California in 1997. Why did we name our company oGoing? oGoing connects the letter “O” with the adjective “Going”. “O” is for Opportunities. “Going” means Growing, Flourishing and Thriving in business. “Going” equates to businesses and professionals Going places and Moving forward! “O” is also from “Om”, the universal sound and “O” the life element that embodies spirit, unity and infinity. Also, our founder, who lives in Orange County, was inspired by both Obama and Oprah. oGoing is also a spin on “What’s going on?®” There you have it! Best of all, oGoing is unique and fresh! oGoing Inc. has been an Irvine and Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce member and a registered California Small Business. oGoing is headquartered in sunny Irvine, California, the business capital of Orange County.

Our Community Involvement

oGoing founder Sanjay Dalal and his family deeply care about our community, helping neglected and disadvantaged children, alleviating homelessness and doing our small part towards climate change. They have contributed their time and donations to Akshaya Patra, Olive Crest, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, UNICEF, Pratham, Childcare International, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Colette’s Childrens Home, KidSave and Rotary International. Dalal has also contributed periodically to USO, Mercy House, Habitat for Humanity, Orange County Rescue Mission, Free Wheelchair Mission, BAPs Charities, Salvation Army, Jain Center, Snowball Express, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Local Police and Fire Fighters, Veterans Organization, and American Red Cross. oGoing pledges to donate 5% of pre-tax profits each year to charities helping disadvantaged and neglected children. Recently, oGoing has pledged to plant ten thousand trees across the globe as part of The Canopy Project with EarthDay.

oGoing is a small business, and we have all the growing pains and lessons learned towards starting, operating, surviving, growing and scaling our small business. We have come close to going bankrupt few times. The entrepreneurial journey has been extremely difficult at times, but we have kept going for the past 13 years. To start something in the middle of a deep recession was not easy; our founder & CEO Sanjay B Dalal has invested upwards of $500K towards building oGoing without taking any salary, and continues investing his valuable time, money and resources. Some may say he’s a bit crazy. But then again, which entrepreneur isn’t. Sanjay is deeply passionate towards building a community for small business that local businesses everywhere will find valuable, while supporting and collaborating with each other.
